Alex Verdugo also returns to the lineup in the leadoff spot, after Eli White lead off Friday
The Braves are giving rookie star Drake Baldwin another start at catcher, as he continues to earn more playing time due to his stellar performance on offense. Meanwhile, Alex Verdugo rejoins the lineup at the leadoff spot, replacing Stuart Fairchild in the corner outfield, as Eli White move back to the eight hole. This move makes sense, going from facing the tough lefty in Crochet to the declining veteran righty Giolito.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox roll out an identical lineup to Friday night’s game, despite going from facing the Cy Young caliber lefty Chris Sale to the serviceable (no disrespect meant) righty Grant Holmes.
