We’re in nightmare territory

Eli White got off to a tremendous start, but he lost time once Ronald Acuña came back and Alex Verdugo inexplicably got more playing time. Verdugo is down to 78 wRC+, has no real reason to think that’ll improve, and plays terrible defense. Okay, White hasn’t been a lot better, but he can at least defend. It would be better if the Braves had a guy like …
Jerar Encarnacion to come off the IL and step in. He’s hitting a cool .000/.000/.000 in his return … and he hasn’t played in this series other than a pinch hit appearance … and he’s not playing today. But my fantasy team would like him to. Instead San Francisco is starting Dominic Smith, who also can’t hit and hasn’t at any MLB stop. Kids, you need ty get drafted in the first round. You just jeep getting chances.
I think all of our brains are broken, but let’s do this!
