The 2025 MLB All-Star game will be held in Truist Park and is set to present all kinds of festivities for fans’ entertainment throughout the event.

It’s almost that time…

The break that fans need (or not) before the trade deadline. All there is to do is watch your favorite players compete against other top players…for fun.

The Atlanta Braves hosting the MLB All-Star game isn’t the only thing on the agenda in Atlanta during July 11th-15th; there are also tons of activities and events scheduled around the game to enjoy if you plan on making the trip or a quick drive to Truist Park to participate.

Here’s a quick rundown and details on what to expect before the week approaches.

HBCU Swingman Classic

Kicking off on Friday, July 11th, the HBCU Swingman Classic is coming to town to represent the A.

Student-athletes from Division I HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) in Atlanta will be participating in this game to highlight the legacy and historical significance of the program, to be showcased on the big stage in Atlanta.

To get a glimpse and exposure of the culture in an HBCU experience, there will also be incorporations of a marching band performance, a step-show from the Divine Nine fraternities and sororities of the prospective colleges and a post-game fireworks show to wrap up the event.

Prices are starting as low as $27.

All-Star Saturday

Saturday, June 12th is another fan-favorite as All-Star Saturday presents a doubleheader, bringing out celebrity stars to try their hands on the field, and future stars in the minor leagues give an up-close and in-person glance at the talent you might see on your favorite team soon.

Starting the double header, the future of your team will be in action in the Future Stars game with both Atlanta legends, Marquis Grissom and Chipper Jones, managing the young stars. Jones will take over the National League with Grissom spearheading the American League.

The participants in attendance for the celebrity softball game were announced by MLB ago, building anticipation to see stars like Yankees Hall of Famer CC Sabathia, Gymnastics Olympian Jordan Chiles, and Softball Olympian Jennie Finch, to name a few.

They will all be geared and ready to suit up and play a friendly game of softball immediately after the Future Stars game to close out the Saturday festivities.

Tickets start as low as $50 and include both the Futures Game and the Celebrity Softball game.

MLB Draft

Sunday, July 13th, will provide interactive and free-of-charge activities for families, friends, and individuals to take part in.

Starting will be the celebration of Braves’ legend Hank Aaron in the MLB All-Star 4.4 Miler with a run starting and ending at Center Parc Stadium.

Participants will get a ticket to the HBCU Swingman Classic, one ticket to gain access to the Capital One All-Star village, a finisher medal and a t-shirt.

The Derby before the Derby (Homerun Derby X) will also be taking place on this day.

This competition, in a nutshell, is a three-on-three competition that’s basically like the home run derby, displaying a showcase of power hitting, but with defense added.

It’s a free event that will take place at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium on the Georgia Tech campus, featuring Braves stars and legends competing against their division rivals.

Other baseball and softball stars will also be participating to make up a strong and entertaining lineup.

Lastly, for Sunday, the annual and most anticipated MLB Draft will be held live starting at 6:00 p.m. ET at the Coca-Cola Roxy. For this event, fans would’ve had to enter the MLB Draft Sweepstakes for a chance to win tickets and witness the draft live.

It’s unfortunately unclear on other ways to get tickets to the event. However, people have said in the past to keep an eye out for Ticketmaster or even the MLB site for possible deals and releases.

Home Run Derby

Monday, July 14th, is unmistakably the day most fans are waiting for… besides the All-Star game on Tuesday, of course.

Before the much-anticipated Home Run Derby, there will be an opportunity to get a sneak peek of the American and National League All-Star teams taking batting practice in the Gatorade All-Star Workout Day at Truist Park.

Of course, shortly after is the Home Run Derby. Eight home run leaders will go yard in three rounds to determine a champion to claim the title. Tickets for the derby start at a little under $400 and are $275.66 for standing room only.

MLB All-Star Game

That brings us to the finale. Tuesday, July 15th, the moment we’ll all be waiting for… will happen right after the All-Star Red Carpet Show.

You’ll be able to watch the players and their families dress to the nines as they strut the red carpet at the Battery at 2:00 p.m. ET.

Besides the sweepstakes that’s already closed, it’s not clear on other ways to gain access to the event, but like the Draft, it’s suggested to keep an open eye on the MLB.com site, along with any news surrounding open ticket opportunities.

And now, that brings us to the ultimate finale, the MLB All-Star Game. The top-voted players will represent the American League and the National League to face each other at Truist Park at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Prices start right under $500, and $330.75 for standing room only areas.

Throughout the week, starting on the 12th through the 15th, the Capital One All-Star Village will also be open at the Cobb Galleria Centre for families to take part in interactive baseball activities like autographs, Home Run Derby in virtual reality, batting cages, mock drafts, and many more.

There is a range of ticket prices and discounts for adults, children, seniors, college students and military following the link above.

With all of the daily events provided, there is no excuse not to take part in at least one of the many festivities to get a taste of the All-Star experience in some form. Whether the event is right in your backyard or a few hours away, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that fans won’t want to miss.
