We were starting to get worried there
Well, the Braves got a right-handed home run and a win over the Dodgers, didn’t they? Austin Riley, Bryce Elder (wat), and the guys had a great night. Having Raisel Iglesias come in with a single run lead had me on the edge of my seat, though. All he did was elicit a 77 MPH single and strike out the next three hitters with Hyeseong “The Comet” Kim causing havoc behind him. That’s as good as I have seen Raisel Iglesias in a while. How long exactly it has been is up for your debate. But that was definitely the best one this year, in a game the Braves could have really used a win.
Raisel has struck out three batters in a game already this year, but also gave up the winning home run versus the Phillies on April 9th. He struck out four of six Giants in two innings in a win last August, when he was in the midst of a span of nearly three months without an earned run given up. It would really be fun to see that Raisel again.
