Atlanta plays host to all 30 teams and here’s how you can keep up with the 2025 MLB Draft
The 2025 MLB Draft is set to begin on Sunday, July 13th at 6 PM EST in Atlanta, Georgia, and there is a change in the format this season for those interested. The first is backing up the time by an hour, and that is to make way for the biggest change of them all. This season the MLB Draft day one is going to include the first three rounds (rather than two as in years past) giving the Atlanta Braves picks 22, 60, and 96 overall. Pre-game coverage will begin at 5 PM. The draft overall is being shortened to two days, and day two will include all of rounds 4 through 20.
The division rival Washington Nationals will hold the 1st overall pick in the draft via the draft lottery, with the Angels, Mariners, Rockies, and Cardinals rounding out the top five.
