MLB’s annual offseason event gets underway Sunday.
Major League Baseball’s Winter Meetings will officially get underway Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee. The annual event will bring together front offices from around the league as well as agents, players and media members for four days of discussions. The offseason has been moving along steady, but discussions should pick up this week.
Sunday, the voting results for the Contemporary Hall of Fame Ballot will be revealed. Those on the ballot include Cito Gaston, Davey Johnson, Jim Leyland, Ed Montague, Lou Piniella, Joe West and Bill White. The annual Draft Lottery will take place on Tuesday with the Rule 5 Draft wrapping things up Wednesday.
