Obviously we have reached the slow part of the offseason which is a little surprising since a number of the top free agents are still on the board. The Atlanta Braves have been active and look like they are about ready for Spring Training, but there are a number of clubs that still have work to do.
Cody Bellinger, Blake Snell, Jordan Montgomery and Matt Chapman represent four of FanGraphs’ top seven free agents available this winter. It probably isn’t a coincidence that all four are represented by Scott Boras, who isn’t afraid to drag things out if he feels his clients aren’t getting what they deserve.
