Ozzie Albies back in the leadoff spot as Braves begin series against Oakland

Atlanta will try to put an end to a two-game losing skid in Friday’s series opener.

The Atlanta Braves will try to snap a two-game losing streak Friday night when they begin a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics. Reynaldo López will get the start for Atlanta while Oakland will go with lefty JP Sears.

Ozzie Albies moves back into the leadoff spot with a lefty on the mound. Adam Duvall moves up to the fifth spot in the order. Sean Murphy gets another start behind the plate and is hitting eighth.

For the A’s, Brent Rooker will serve as the DH and is hitting third. Miguel Andujar will be in left field and is swinging a hot bat since coming off the injured list. Zack Gelof is hitting seventh while Tyler Soderstrom starts at first base and will hit eighth.

First pitch for Friday’s game is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports Southeast.
