Rain, rain go away!

Saturday’s game between the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres has been delayed due to rain in the area of Truist Park. It looks like a band of showers will be passing through and the game should be able to get underway after that. We will pass along updates here as they become available.

Pitchers aren’t getting ready yet. The start of tonight’s game will be delayed

The start of tonight’s game has been delayed due to inclement weather moving into the area. While this system is unpredictable, we are watching the weather closely and will provide updates approximately every 30 minutes. We appreciate your patience.

Tarp’s coming out and start of #Braves vs. Padres is delayed due to inclement weather in the area. It’s not raining here, and sure seems like they should try to get in 5 innings before it arrives. But what do I know?

Get comfortable, we might be here a while.

Looks like it’ll only last for about three hours. pic.twitter.com/ykU5hm2uek

A more detailed weather report.

Rain is about 7 miles from the @BatteryATL right now, moving east. Rain will start in about 15-20 minutes. The heavy rain to the west is about 30 minutes away. https://t.co/G5Ca2pNibe pic.twitter.com/4unw8bRsDq

The beat writers in the press box are not happy.

Correction: Tarp wasn’t coming out. The workers had just got into position to roll the tarp out when needed. Now they’re bringing it out, 30 minutes after scheduled first pitch was delayed. No rain yet. https://t.co/5kr8RCqZVl

An official update that there will be another update in 30 minutes

Update: We continue to monitor inclement weather moving into the area. We will provide another update in approximately 30 minutes. https://t.co/WYpejyeIqI

Rain has started to fall at Truist Park

Light rain has begun at Truist Park. Not rain that would’ve stopped a game already underway, but that’s coming before much longer.

There is some baseball being played at Truist Park.

Another update to say that there is no update.

We are still in a weather delay. We will continue to watch the forecast closely and provide updates. https://t.co/IeFZHJHtvc

This game might be in trouble

They are clearing the coolers out of the dugouts. May get an announcement soon.

Saturday’s game has been rained out

Tonight’s game against the San Diego Padres has been postponed due to inclement weather. We had been hopeful that we would find conditions suitable to play; however, after further consultation with the weather service, radar indicates unsuitable conditions for starting the game.…
