Gotta go gotta go, I hope
Austin Riley was removed before his third plate appearance in tonight’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Now, we know why exactly. Kind of sort of.
3B Austin Riley was removed from tonight’s game due to lower abdominal tightness.

Austin Riley was removed in the middle of tonight’s game. Luke Williams took his place at third base. Brian Snitker was not pleased after consultation with the trainers. But then again, entering Luke Williams into a winnable game might cause that same kind of reaction as well. Luke promptly struck out and then commits an error. So yeah, because that. so what happened to Riley?
I mean, lower abdominal tightness could be a lot of things. Appendicitis, kidney stones, the willies, a muscle pull, the Boogie fever, a gun shot, anything. He could have had to use the facilities too, so there’s that. I don’t know, long season here and I’m just trying to get through this without a poop joke. We will update as news breaks.
