Two superstars are closer to returning to games that count
Here, have some injury updates, courtesy of the Braves’ beat writers:
Acuña will begin his rehab stint with the Florida Complex League team tomorrow. The Braves don’t know how long he’ll play before being activated.

Ronald Acuña Jr. has been missing in action for just barely under a year at this point. The Braves could surely use him, as they currently rank 28th in left field production and 23rd in right field production on the season. The Braves aren’t likely to rush him, but still, a rehab assignment is another tangible step on the road to returning to a big league Braves uniform for the phenom.
But wait, there’s more:
Strider will throw five innings or 70-75 pitches in a sim game on Wednesday. The Braves will then decide if he needs to make a rehab start before being activated

Spencer Strider came from his elbow brace procedure that knocked him out for over a year, and then promptly injured his hamstring after his first start. He may be back within a week or so at this rate, but again, the Braves will probably play it safe with him as well. I’d say “stay tuned for more,” but at this point, it might be safer not to do that before the Braves suffer yet another injury that requires updates.
