Braves fans gave the team high marks for the selection of Cam Caminiti in the 2024 MLB Draft

The Atlanta Braves reached an agreement with first round pick Cam Caminiti Friday for reportedly the slot value of just over $3.5 million. That is significantly less than some thought it would take after Caminiti slid from a potential Top 10 selection to Atlanta at pick No. 24. The Braves nearly $1.2 million left to spend on the rest of their class after signing Caminiti. We are tracking all of the signings in this year’s signings tracker.
This week’s SB Nation Reacts question asked fans to assign a grade to the Camaniti pick. The response was overwhelmingly positive with 79% assigning an “A” and another 17% giving it a “B”.
