Do you have strong feelings about the “new” schedule?
The Braves and Mets will tangle for the first time in 2025 in the second half of June. That feels kind of weird. Sure, they only meet 13 times all season, which is to say, four series — but four series in the final four months is maybe somewhat different than what you’d expect?
I guess this question is more a broad referendum on the new schedule as a whole. This sort of thing is bound to happen when the schedule gets more “balanced,” and while it’s theoretically possible to have some sort of ideal schedule that may spreads out rivalry series a bit better, MLB has such trouble making its schedule to begin with that I imagine there’d be lots of weirdness either way.
Anyway, what do you think about the schedule?
