It will be just like Spring Training but different.
The Atlanta Braves head to Florida to face the Tampa Bay Rays but it won’t be the first time the team has placed at the Rays’ stadium this year. With the Rays playing at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa due to the hurricane damage at Tropicana Field, the Braves to return the stadium where they played the New York Yankees during Spring Training.
After winning the series against the Philadelphia Phillies in dramatic fashion after a rain delay halted action for several hours, Atlanta will begin their second road trip of the season by heading south before flying north of the border to take on the Toronto Blue Jays.
It has been a dreadful start to the season for Atlanta, but the Braves will look to carry the momentum they generated at home to the sunshine (hopefully) state.
