Atlanta and Cincinnati renew their old NL West rivalry.
The Atlanta Braves wrap-up their home stand this week with a four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. After a disappointing series loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta will try their luck against another former NL West foe.
The Reds have been an early-season surprise in the NL Central with likely future Hall of Fame manager Terry Francona in his first year at the helm in Cincinnati. The Red sit above .500 and are in second place in their division behind the Chicago Cubs.
Led by superstar shortstop Elly De La Cruz and with starting pitchers Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo pacing the upstart Reds, this four-game set may be a tougher test for the Braves that it looked to be prior to the start of the season.
Here are the start times for each of this week’s games against the Reds.
- Monday, May 5 – 7:15PM EDT
- Tuesday, May 6 – 7:15PM EDT
- Wednesday, May 7 – 7:15PM EDT
- Thursday, May 8 – 7:15PM EDT
