Braves have a winning record for the first time in 2021.

For the first time in 2021, the Atlanta Braves have a winning record. The Braves defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 8-4 Thursday night to complete a three-game sweep while improving to 55-54 on the season. Atlanta had failed to climb over .500 six times this season before finally breaking through Thursday night.

April 10: 4-4

April 28: 12-12

May 9: 17-17

May 25: 24-24

June 8: 29-29

July 10: 44-44

With the win, Atlanta closed the gap further in the NL East and now trail the Phillies by a game and the Mets by 1.5 games for the division lead. Atlanta will return home Friday where they will begin a six-game homestand with a three-game series against the Washington Nationals.
