Travis d’Arnaud, Guillermo Heredia in the lineup for Thursday’s finale against Diamondbacks

The Atlanta Braves will try to make it five straight wins Thursday afternoon when they wrap up a four-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Braves won 9-2 Wednesday and have outscored the Diamondbacks 26-7 in the series. Charlie Morton will get the start for Atlanta while Arizona will go with left-hander Madison Bumgarner.

The Braves will stick with Jorge Soler in the leadoff spot. Travis d’Arnaud returns to the lineup and will hit sixth. Dansby Swanson moves up to the seventh spot while Guillermo Heredia will hit eighth and be in center field with a left-hander on the mound.

For the Diamondbacks, Ketel Marte is out of the lineup for Thursday’s game. Pavin Smith will be in right field and will hit second. David Peralta moves up to third in the order. Josh VanMeter moves over to second base and will hit fifth.


Thursday’s game is scheduled to begin at 3:40 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South.
