Travis d’Arnaud returns to the lineup for the first time since taking a foul ball off the mask in Friday’s game.
Travis d’Arnaud is back in the Atlanta Braves’ lineup for the second game of Monday’s doubleheader against the San Diego Padres. Chris Sale will get the start for Atlanta while San Diego will go with right-hander Randy Vásquez.
d’Arnaud exited Friday’s game after taking a foul ball off his face mask. The Braves said he left the game due to dizziness, but further testing revealed that he did not suffer a concussion. He sat out Sunday’s game and the first game of Monday’s doubleheader. Adam Duvall also gets a start in left field in game two and will bat sixth.
