It’s just the Braves’ luck that Austin Riley has an injury issue when his hitting is starting to come around. He had a .308/.325/.590 line with a 152 wRC+ in July coming into last night’s game. And he contributed last night with a single and a run. In case you missed it, Austin Riley was removed from the game with what was termed “lower abdominal tightness” by the Braves. Yeah I don’t know either.
Maybe the Braves will send an update between the time this is being written and when you see this. But for now, I choose to believe it’s indigestion. It could happen to anyone during this long season. St. Louis has some excellent Italian restaurants, or so I was told when visiting. Many places offer T-Ravs, or fried Raviolis, on their menus. They’re ok, maybe inspired by the Texas State Fair, but interesting. Anyway, we’ll try to keep you posted during Ravioligate.
