Hopefully the answer isn’t “most of the returns are lame”
Yesterday was a weird Trade Deadline action day, where most of the names moved got underwhelming returns, except for Taylor Rogers, a rental reliever. It’s not like the Mets had set some precedent of overwhelming reliever prices with that acquisition, either, since they sent essentially nothing for Ryan Helsley the same day.
But, “variable and largely unexciting returns for relievers” isn’t really that exciting. Will there be something exciting today? Weigh in below, I guess.
