Diddier Fuentes is taking the mound to face off the Marlins in game one in this three-game series, hoping to help the Braves clinch another win.
The lineups are now out to kick off the three-game series with the Atlanta Braves taking on the Miami Marlins.
As you’ve probably already heard by now, the youngest pitcher in MLB, Diddier Fuentes, who just celebrated his 20th birthday a few days ago, has been activated to take the mound on the big league roster to give the starting rotation a little rest going into the remainder of the series and this vital stretch before the All-Star break.

Besides a new name in the pitching spot, the rest of the lineup hasn’t changed too much from yesterday’s game.
Sean Murphy is back in tonight to catch for Fuentes, although going 0-for-4 in his last two plate appearances, Brian Snitker is seemingly giving Baldwin a break after yesterday’s achievement, where he earned two RBIs to help lengthen the Braves’ lead.
Although the popular opinion is to keep Baldwin on the field and hot, Snitker is still swapping the two throughout lineups to balance the position.
Ozzie Albies has moved up a spot, now batting sixth instead of seventh, right above Murphy.
The Marlins have also released their lineup with second baseman Xavier Edwards (.284/.354/.319) batting leadoff. Dropping their series finale to the Phillies last night (2-1); they ultimately took one out of three in the four-game series.
Junk on the bump.

Both teams are eyeing a victory to start this series, but under different circumstances.
The Marlins are hoping for victory after an in-division series loss, and the Braves are attempting to keep up the momentum to carry with them through this stretch for another in-division series win.
You know what they say, when the Braves are hot, they’re hot. Was this past series the turnaround they needed to begin their comeback?
I guess we’ll have to find out.
