If you like the Big 10, we’re playing the Big 10!

On July 23rd, Georgia Tech Volleyball officially unveiled their full schedule featuring seven P4 non-conference games and their usual ACC slate.

The 2025 is here!

Tickets will go on sale July 24 at 12 PM but Tech fans are encouraged to join the ticket waitlist now.

After a couple tuneup games in August, Tech gets going August 29th for their annual tournament at home welcoming Wofford, Ole Miss, and Arkansas State. They’ll then head to West Lafayette, Indiana to face Purdue, Kansas, and Bowling Green.

From there, Tech gets rematches against their two 2024 NCAA Tournament opponents, going to Tennessee in the ACC/SEC Challenge on September 9 and then hosting Wisconsin in O’Keefe on September 12.

The annual McCamish Pavilion match doubles as volleyball Clean, Old Fashioned Hate against uga on September 19. Uga becomes the first repeat opponent for Tech will have faced at McCamish since the annual game began in 2022.

For a non-con slate, this isn’t the hardest slate they’ve had, but it’s still very competitive. They’ll get good warmup games to start the season, where in recent memory they’ve faced heavy ranked teams, but this time will face no teams that finished ranked last season until Purdue (#9 in the final AVCA poll).

The stretch of Purdue through Wisconsin will tell us a lot about this very new team, which has 10 new players and is replacing nearly all of its offensive output. If they get through that with a few wins, we’ll know they can attack ACC play with some massive confidence.

Speaking of ACC play, Tech will face the entire ACC, plus home and homes with Clemson, Stanford, and Pitt. In an extremely welcome sight, the usually deadly late-season Florida swing is non-existent this year, as Tech will host Miami and Florida State to start ACC play. Tech gets a pretty favorable home/road split this year. The only ranked teams from last season in the ACC they’ll play on the road are Stanford, SMU, and Pitt. The lone Louisville match is at home this year (if anyone’s driving by the L&N House of Pain this fall, feel free to put some hexes on the building for us before 2026).

But, in a replication of 2024, Tech finishes with Stanford (road) and Pitt (home). Last year, Tech lost to both teams in brutal five sets during the final week of the season in O’Keefe. This also sets up a second straight year where volleyball plays Stanford on Wednesday, football plays georgia on Friday, and volleyball plays Pitt on Saturday. All of them were so heartbreaking last year I basically went numb. If you are on heart medication and care for these teams and these games, I suggest you consult your doctor before watching, because they will be stressful.

If you’d like tickets to any of these home games in O’Keefe, single game tickets will be extremely limited or not available. It’s important though that we keep breaking our attendance record at McCamish, so get your tickets!
