Class of 2024 4-star guard Jaeden Mustaf commits to Georgia Tech

March 25, 2025 by Zags Blog

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Jaeden Mustaf, the 6-foot-5 4-star guard from Overtime Elite, committed to Georgia Tech on Thursday.

Mustaf chose the ACC school over N.C. State, Maryland, Florida State, Indiana, and Arkansas.

“I will be attending Georgia Tech University,” he announced at Overtime Elite.

“I chose GT because of coach Damon Stoudamire,” he told On3. “He believes in me and I believe in what he is building here in ATL. The academics at this school are second to none and he is a legend at the point guard position and I can learn so much from him.”

He took official visits to Georgia Tech, N.C. State, Florida State, and Indiana, and an unofficial to Maryland.

Mustaf previously attended Dematha Catholic (MD) and then Carmel Christian (N.C.) where he led his team to a North Carolina state championship last season.

He continued to impress at EYBL over the summer, averaging 18.6 points per game before joining Overtime Elite to continue to develop during his senior year. The 6-5 point guard brings athleticism and the ability to flex across multiple guard positions, and his strength makes him an elite defender. This past weekend against NBL’s Perth Wildcats he was the leading scorer for Overtime Elite with 17 points.

“Jaeden has already made an impact in his short time at Overtime Elite. He showed us what he was made of against Perth, competing at a high level against pros,” said Damien Wilkins, OTE General Manager. “His defensive tenacity and ability to guard multiple positions paired with his ability to see the floor and make shots makes him a major threat on both sides of the court. We are excited to see his growth at OTE before he heads to play under Coach Stoudamire and the esteemed Georgia Tech basketball program.”
