Former Georgia wide receiver Dominick Blaylock is transferring within the state ahead of the 2023 college football season.

Blayock, a former four-star recruit, entered his name into the transfer portal back in January and fielded offers from several programs before making his final decision.

The Marietta, Georgia native ultimately decided to stay in his home state and commit to Georgia Tech.

“Proud to say that I am graduating this week from the University of Georgia,” Blaylock said in an exclusive interview with DawgsHQ. “After talking to over 15 programs, I have decided to further my graduate studies and finish my eligibility at Georgia Tech. Thank you Athens and for everything and all the great memories. GO DAWGS.”

Blaylock joined the Bulldogs program as a four-star recruit in the 2019 class. Through 12 games in his true freshman season, he reeled in 18 catches for 310 yards and five touchdowns — including two TD catches of more than 50 yards.

He missed the entire 2020 season after suffering a preseason knee injury, and had a limited impact on the Bulldogs’ back-to-back National Championship rosters in 2021 and 2022. Through 15 games this past season, he had 15 catches for 227 yards and one touchdown.
