5-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick has reportedly changed his mind on his Georgia commitment and will no longer be joining the back-to-back national champs.
Per 247’s Christian Clemente, Riddick will instead attend Auburn after flipping his commitment from Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs.
“At Georgia I was feeling at home and I felt like that was my family too, but this family is something different,” Riddick said of his decision.

The 6-foot-2, 212-pound LB was the sixth-ranked recruit in Georgia’s 2024 class and the No. 3 player in the state of Alabama; making this a huge win for Hugh Freeze in his first year as Tigers head coach.
“The whole staff they’re hyped about it ready to go,” Riddick told 247Sports.
“Coach Freeze called me and said ‘I’m so freaking happy you’re coming here. I’ve been wanting you for the longest.’ … It’s going to be great to play for Coach Freeze and I’m excited for it.”
