Happy Friday once again, Dawg Nation. With no game for a couple weeks, we can kick back and relax… or we can cheer on the Hoop Dawgs. The 8-1 Georgia basketball team plays Grand Canyon University at 6 pm on SEC Network in the Holiday Hoopsgiving at State Farm Arena. GCU has been a tournament team in recent years, so this will be another good out-of-conference barometer before league play begins.
Back to football Dawg news, three Georgia freshmen were named to the All-SEC Freshman Team: RB Nate Frazier, LB Chris Cole, and S KJ Bolden. All three were well deserved and will play a big part in the CFP Playoffs for the Dawgs.
