Georgia didn’t exactly need a boost heading into tonight’s game against Ole Miss, but the two-time defending champions may receive one in the form of Brock Bowers.
Bowers has been sidelined since Oct. 14 due to an ankle injury. The All-American underwent TightRope surgery following Georgia’s win over Vanderbilt.
Coming into this Saturday, the Bulldogs listed Bowers as a game-time decision. Judging by the latest update, it sounds like he’s going to suit up.
According to Seth Emerson of The Athletic, Bowers is catching passes with the rest of Georgia’s tight end group.
“Brock Bowers out catching passes with the other tight ends in early warmups. And running first in line, if that means anything,” Emerson wrote on social media.

When healthy, Bowers is undoubtedly the best tight end in the game. He has 567 receiving yards and five total touchdowns this season.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. We’ll find out awfully soon if Bowers is cleared for action.
