Over a decade ago, Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson became a sensation on social media due to her impressive physique. In fact, she was referred to as the “World’s Strongest Cheerleader.”
While she was a student at Georgia, Watson was earning a degree in exercise science.
Fast forward to the present day, and Watson, who now goes by Anna Munzenmaier, is a strength and conditioning coach for D1 Training Athens.
Her bio for D1 Training Athens says the following:
“Anna especially enjoys working with women and teaching proper mechanics to empower others to feel confident in and out of the weight room. Anna loves to see her clients grow in self-efficacy and the ability to appreciate all their amazing bodies can do!”
Remember Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson who went viral in 2012 for her jacked physique? 💪
She’s now a strength & conditioning coach in Athens, which certainly tracks. 👏 pic.twitter.com/ji2wRZU7i3

Back in 2012, Watson talked about the importance of understanding that physical fitness isn’t the only thing that should define someone.
“I know that my identity is not in working out,” Watson said. “It’s not who I am. It’s not what I want people to see me as. Yes, on the outside, I’m a very fit individual, but when you get to know me, my life is not all about exercise and working out. I think it’s really important to stay grounded and know who you are and knowing that shaping your bicep is not going to shape your personality. It’s not going to shape your goals in life.”
Now, Watson is trying to motivate people to stay confident.
