Justus Terry, No. 7 Recruit In 2025 Class, Announces Decommitment

After committing to the USC Trojans in March, five-star 2025 defensive lineman Justus Terry continued his recruiting journey with trips to the likes of Georgia and Florida State. But now it appears that he’s ready to fully re-open his recruitment.

Taking to X on Wednesday, Terry announced that his recruitment is open and that he has decommitted from USC.

“MY RECRUITMENT IS OPEN!! #Decommitted #1shot #Givemeeverythingyougot,” Terry wrote on X.

247Sports rates Terry as the No. 7 overall prospect in the Class of 2025. He is the No. 2 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Georgia. It’s worth noting that the No. 1 player at both his position and state is Elijah Griffin, who is being tipped by many to commit to Georgia too.

Fans in the comments immediately swarmed and begged that he go to Georgia and join the Bulldogs.

“Come to UGA and compete against the best while contending for National titles. You’ll make a lot more in the NFL by doing so. Or you can go to Tennessee lose by 30 every year to the Dawgs and then be a 5th -7th round pick. You decide,” one fan replied.

“You know where home is bro #GoDawgs,” wrote another.

“GO MF DAWGS,” a third declared.

Terry is already extremely popular in the Peach State. He could make a killing in NIL (not to mention the national football landscape) by joining the Bulldogs.

Will Terry commit to Georgia, or will some other team get his signature?
