Georgia fans will have to wait a little longer regarding Brock Bowers’ status for Saturday’s SEC Championship Game against Georgia.
Head coach Kirby Smart said on Thursday that he’s still unsure whether the star tight end will be available for the game.
Kirby Smart said he doesn’t know yet if Brock Bowers or Ladd McConkey will be able to play Saturday against Alabama.

Bowers dressed for last Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech but did not play.
He’s been banged up throughout the season after he suffered an ankle injury on Oct. 14 against Vanderbilt. He then returned against Ole Miss on Nov. 11 and played against Tennessee on Nov. 18 before sitting out last week’s game.
Bowers would be a massive loss if he’s not able to go. In nine games, he’s recorded 51 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns.
We’ll have to see what his status looks like once Saturday comes around.
Kickoff for the SEC Championship Game will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
