Another top quarterback is hitting the transfer portal following the close of the 2023 college football season.
UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava is on the move after a successful season for the Rebels. He racked up 3,085 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions to go along with 277 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
After leading the Rebels to a 9-5 record, Maiava is taking his talents to the SEC. According to multiple reports, the talented quarterback is transferring to Georgia.

Earlier this offseason, Georgia coach Kirby Smart revealed his desire for the Bulldogs quarterback room heading into the 2024 season. He wanted to have four scholarship quarterbacks ready to go.
“Our hard number is four,” he said. “We want to be at four, and we’re not at four. So again, we’ll look at our options and see what we can do there. We would like to be at four, but that’s our goal.”
He’ll have to sit behind quarterback Carson Beck, who will be returning for the 2024 campaign.
