2025 Senior Bowl: Highlights of potential Falcons draft targets

January 30, 2025 by Falcons Wire

The 2025 Senior Bowl kicks off this weekend in Mobile, Alabama but the week of practice leading up to Saturday’s exhibition is arguably more important than the game itself. This year’s senior class turned in a solid week of practice.

Many of the top defensive line/EDGE prospects showed out, which is a great sign for an Atlanta Falcons team in need of defensive help. Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot must find some mid-round gems this year if they hope to contend in 2025.

Now that Senior Bowl practices have wrapped up, let’s check out some highlights from potential Falcons draft targets, including Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart and Marshall’s Mike Green.

Texas A&M DL Shemar Stewart:

Texas A&M DL Shemar Stewart —6’5”, 281lbs— came to the senior bowl, dominated it for 2 days of practices, and has decided to leave early.

Marshall edge Mike Green – who had the practice field buzzing after this rep earlier today in 1-on-1’s – has opted to withdraw from the rest of the Senior Bowl week and head home to continue with his draft prep.

Georgia WR Arian Smith:

Arian Smith has reportedly been “blowing some scouts away” with his abilities at the Senior Bowl.

Smith has reportedly been a “matchup nightmare” for DB’s and his speed has caused many problems.
