3 Possible Destinations for Four-Time All-Pro NFL Free Agent, Ranked

November 9, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

After failing to find a team this past offseason, it could be time for free agent Justin Simmons to return to the NFL at the right time, with the playoffs around the corner. Bleacher Report has Simmons as the top free agent, which is no surprise, as the safety is shockingly still available. Still, it could be any week that a team may present him a solid opportunity on a one-year contract. However, Simmons is only going to sign with a contender, and that made it harder for just any team to reach out to him since the teams that are close to a postseason might not make a move until a week before the playoffs start in January.

3 Possible Destinations for Four-Time All-Pro NFL Free Agent Justin Simmons, Ranked

The top veteran isn’t going to light up the field anymore, but the former Boston College product came off a promising season with the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the situation in Atlanta, Simmons still made an impact, and it’s only to wonder if the NFL interceptions co-leader in 2016 is going to win a ring before he decides to retire. At age 31, it shouldn’t be surprising if a team signs him as soon as this week. The safety should be on most contenders’ radars, and it would be a huge blow to him if a team doesn’t sign him, but there shouldn’t be any worry, as the veteran will probably sign with these three teams at some point.
