Aside from injuries to linebacker Troy Andersen and defensive lineman Grady Jarrett, the Atlanta Falcons stayed relatively healthy throughout their 2023 campaign. Andersen suffered a season-ending in Week 3, creating an opportunity for reserve linebacker Nate Landman.
The former undrafted free agent out of Colorado performed surprisingly well and is arguably the favorite to start alongside veteran Kaden Elliss in 2024. While the team didn’t add much to its linebacker group over the offseason, Atlanta selected Notre Dame’s JD Bertrand in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft.
