The Atlanta Falcons improved to 6-3 after Sunday’s 27-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Kirk Cousins led Atlanta’s offense with a three-touchdown performance and the defense matched the energy with a season-high three sacks.
In the first quarter, Falcons wide receiver Drake London caught his sixth touchdown of the season before doing a falling headstand in the endzone to celebrate. A few hours later, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown did a similar touchdown celebration against the Green Bay Packers.
If you’re confused, both players were paying tribute to Incarnate Word wide receiver Jalen Walthall’s viral touchdown celebration. Walthall was penalized for doing this same headstand celebration after a touchdown reception against Houston Christian on Saturday.

Unfortunately for London, he may have gotten hurt during the play and was ruled out for the rest of the game due to a hip injury. The former USC wideout finished with two catches for 27 receiving yards and a touchdown before exiting in the first quarter.
The Falcons leaned on wide receiver Darnell Mooney and running back Bijan Robinson for the rest of Sunday’s win over the Cowboys. Mooney had five catches for 88 yards and a touchdown while Robinson racked up 145 all-purpose yards.
Atlanta will look to win its third straight game against the 2-7 New Orleans Saints in Week 10.
