Amid reports that the Atlanta Falcons are interested in Bill Belichick and vice-versa, there are also reports that the Falcons are interested in Bears quarterback Justin Fields. But would Fields and Belichick be a good fit?
ESPN’s Ryan Clark certainly believes so. Speaking to TMZ, Clark declared that it would be a great match to pair Fields and Belichick together in Atlanta.
“I could see that being a match in Atlanta that would work not only for a coach, but also a player,” Clark said.
Clark explained that Belichick has a knack for picking up players who have beaten him in games before and Fields is one of the few who has done so.
“Justin Fields played absolutely out of his mind against Bill Belichick last year,” Clark pointed out.

Whether or not the move is as ideal of a fit as Clark thinks it is, it’s certainly one that’s capable of happening.
The Bears are widely expected to draft a quarterback with their No. 1 overall pick and will have little-to-no use for Fields after that. The Falcons, meanwhile, have already interviewed Belichick and could be eyeing a new quarterback this coming season.
