Most people have been pronouncing Bijan Robinson’s name incorrectly this whole time, but that should change after he corrected everyone on NFL Network on Sunday.

Good morning Falcoholics! A very quiet Monday — an off-day for the Falcons — is officially behind us, and the pads go on for the first time this offseason in today’s practice. We are just 39 days away from the Falcons’ home opener. (Please note that I have learned my lesson about relying on Google to tell me how many days until Sept. 7.)

Below, you’ll find all of the Falcons news you can use for this fine Tuesday. As always, use the comments section as your open thread for today to discuss all things Falcons! I’ll kick things off: If you could go to any away game on the Falcons’ schedule this year, which one would it be and why?

On to the links!

  • Sure, this defense needs to get sacks … but they also need turnovers, and the Falcons addressed both needs this offseason. A great read here from one of our Falcoholic alumni. – Will McFadden, AtlantaFalcons.com

  • Arthur Blank says we’re moving toward a world where every team has at least one international game per season. It sounds like a logistical nightmare, but the league’s already shown its hand here, so gird your loins. – Dave Choate, The Falcoholic

From the comments

Nickelig
German Falcons fan here.
This is a bad idea. The game belongs to the people in the states. It is ok if the league plays a handful of games overseas. It is something special and cherished but if a handful of games per year become dozens of games per year, the euphoria will wear off.
I am obviously happy that the Falcons have the marketing rights for Germany. And soon we may have our first German Falcons player with Lenny Krieg (if he beats out Koo). And Germans have a strange love for the Falcons, it is one of the more popular teams here.
But it should still be a team for people in Atlanta and Georgia and I am here just for additional support. Plus I want to be totally honest, my whole love affair for the Falcons used to be something really special that nobody in a 100 mile radius understood. I liked it that way to be honest. Now I know the globalization can’t be stopped and I am happy that other people here also found the love for the game. But if the league becomes even more aggressive, it will most likely actually cripple my passion for the game.
