Falcons’ Madden 20 ratings revealed

Check out the player ratings!

The 2019 NFL season is quickly approaching, which means the annual release of EA Sports’ Madden video game is coming soon. On Monday, EA revealed the player ratings for each NFL team in Madden 20, so let’s first take a look at the ratings:

As a seasoned Madden player, my initial takeaway was obviously how low some of the ratings are. It’ll take some time getting use to the new ratings-style as EA Sports wanted to make the ratings more realistic than they were in past years, where even the worst of players still had a 65 overall rating.

A lot of fans were complaining about how Julio Jones wasn’t included in Madden’s “99 Club” which has Aaron Donald, Khalil Mack, DeAndre Hopkins, and Bobby Wagner. Julio’s 98 overall rating shows how close he came in being the fifth member of the group. Some interesting ratings are Calvin Ridley and rookie Kendall Sheffield being tied for the fastest on the team, with a speed rating of 93. Also, they somewhat gave a nod to Mohamed Sanu’s throwing abilities, as he has a 72 rating for throwing power.

One thing to remember with these ratings is that they will increase and decrease once the season begins. Madden adjusts them as real-life player performance demands it, so Julio could easily become 99 overall in the first few weeks.

The Madden 20 release date is on Aug. 2nd for the standard edition, with the Superstar edition and the Ultimate Superstar edition releasing on July 30th. You can view the full list of NFL ratings by clicking here.
