The Atlanta Falcons made a few surprise moves on Tuesday afternoon, placing defensive end Calais Campbell on the non-football injury list and waiving running back Caleb Huntley with a failed physical designation
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Campbell’s injury is considered minor and he should be able to return soon.
Campbell’s issue is considered minor, I’m told. Should be ready to go soon. https://t.co/gjse3vz0VD

We’ll know more tomorrow when head coach Arthur Smith addresses the media. As for Huntley, the Falcons placed him on PUP list last week as he recovers from the torn Achilles he suffered last season, so it’s somewhat surprising to see him waived after the promise he showed in 2022.
The Falcons also brought back tight end MyCole Pruitt, who tied Drake London for most touchdown receptions last season with four.
