The Falcons retain a player who chipped in on special teams last year.
The Atlanta Falcons continue their string of special teams additions today by re-signing LB Josh Woods.
While not a household name, Woods should provide good competition for the summer and 53-man roster.

Woods is going into his seventh season as a professional, and that’s no easy feat. Players who have figured out how to carve roles out for themselves and stick in the league are valuable to have in the locker room. They are symbols displaying the reality that this job isn’t glamorous for everybody, and if you want to stick around, you need to be able to do anything.
Last year Woods was called up five times and logged 89 special teams snaps, helping the team when linebackers Troy Andersen and Nate Landman were dealing with injuries. Woods will look to compete again and prove he can be an asset to this team.
