Wilkinson is sticking around.
The Atlanta Falcons have announced a flurry of free agent moves nearing midnight on Wednesday, March 12th. One of those players that they’ve re-signed is offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson.
In 2024, Wilkinson played in just two games for the Falcons: he contributed sparingly during a win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 and a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.
Most of his time on the field was spent on special teams, where he had eight snaps, but he did get in one play on offense against the Broncos. Wilkinson originally joined the Falcons’ practice squad in late August before being moved to the active roster when the season began.
ATL return for Elijah Wilkinson!

This isn’t Wilkinson’s first time with the Falcons. Back in 2022, he started nine games at left guard and was on the field for every offensive play during that time. Before returning to the Falcons, Wilkinson played for the Arizona Cardinals in 2023, where he started nine games. He has also spent time with the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears.
Because of his familiarity with the Falcons and experience as a starter, Wilkinson will likely have an inside track to a roster spot if the team doesn’t make any more major additions.
