Falcons make another move on Wednesday evening.
The Atlanta Falcons had a busy evening on Wednesday night, as the re-signed linebacker Josh Woods and offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson.
The team has also brought back offensive lineman Kyle Hinton, who has been one of the first options for the team when they suffer injuries at guard.

Hinton originally joined the Falcons in 2023 after spending the previous three years on the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad. During his first season in Atlanta, he hit the field in 16 games and even made a start at guard, plus he contributed on special teams.
At 6-foot-2 and 315 pounds, Hinton will be 27 next season. He’s no stranger to playing different guard positions, and his familiarity with the team and the returning starters, Chris Lindstrom and Matthew Bergeron, make it easier for him to slot in seamlessly if needed. Hinton adds much-needed depth to the roster, and his familiarity with the team’s system only enhances the continuity that the Falcons are aiming for in their offensive line. He’s clearly a favorite of offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford, and should once again have a roster spot in 2025.
The Falcons recent moves have largely been about keeping depth in place, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more to come.
