A familiar face is back in Atlanta as the Falcons kick off training camp. According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Falcons are re-signing tight end MyCole Pruitt.
The 31-year-old posted career highs in receptions (16), receiving yards (150) and touchdowns (4) for Atlanta last season. Pruitt’s four touchdowns tied Drake London for the most on the team in 2022.

Pruitt has a chance to make the roster as the No. 3 tight end behind Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith this season. It’s unclear why the team waited until the day veterans report to training camp to sign Pruitt.
Nonetheless, the veteran tight end showed good chemistry with quarterback Desmond Ridder over the final four games of the season. Check out the Falcons’ updated 90-man roster as camp begins.
