The Atlanta Falcons announced multiple roster moves on Saturday, signing two new defenders and releasing linebacker Dorian Etheridge.
The 24-year-old appeared in seven games for the team in 2021, however, he was injured during the 2022 preseason and didn’t play in a single game.
Atlanta signed Etheridge to a reserve/futures contract back in January, but released the young linebacker upon signing veteran Kemoko Turay.
Falcons HC Arthur Smith said they’ve released Dorian Etheridge.
Also, Eddie Goldman won’t be with them, but they haven’t decided what the exact transaction will be yet.

The Falcons also signed defensive tackle Justin Ellis on Saturday, and while there’s been no official move regarding Eddie Goldman, it sounds as if the veteran nose tackle could soon retire.
According to head coach Arthur Smith, there will be an official transaction later in the day, per NFL Network reporter Cameron Wolfe.
Falcons HC Arthur Smith said DT Eddie Goldman won’t be with the team moving forward noting there will be an official transaction later today.
