We finally know what numbers the rookies will be wearing!

One of the most exciting things following the annual NFL Drafts is the team’s revealing what numbers rookies will be wearing to kick off their NFL careers. Along with the Atlanta Falcons’ rookie numbers that we now know, we also have an overall update on new non-rookies who joined the team this offseason as well as current Falcons who changed their numbers. First though, let’s look at the rookies.

In case the Twitter/X link isn’t working above, Jalon Walker will wear No. 11, James Pearce Jr. will wear No. 27, Xavier Watts will wear No. 31, Billy Bowman Jr. will wear No. 33, and Jack Nelson will wear No. 69.

I don’t think there’s anything too surprising here as most of the rookies are wearing similar to what they wore in college. I have to say though, Pearce Jr.’s No. 27 is going to look odd flying off the edge, but as long as he gets sacks I will quickly not care. You may notice that Walker is slated to wear No. 11, so it appears unlike Matt Ryan’s No. 2 which should never be worn again, Julio Jones’ No. 11 is free game. That number does look good though, even on these not-so-great looking jerseys.

As mentioned, we had some other non-rookie number updates, which you can view above. This was posted prior to the draft, so you can assume that Jordan Fuller will have a different number in 2025. The most notable however is that KhaDarel Hodge, who has been wearing No. 12, will now wear No. 4.

You may wonder why Kyle Pitts is on the list, that’s not number related, I believe it’s just making it known that his jersey name will be “Pitts Sr.” on the back now.

Which rookie jersey do you plan on buying?
