The Atlanta Falcons announced a handful of roster moves on Friday morning. The team placed running back Avery Williams on injured reserve and released both quarterback Austin Aune and wide receiver Justin Marshall.
Replacing them on the roster are kicker Matthew Trickett, wide receiver Scott Blair and defensive lineman Albert Huggins. All three players tried out for the Falcons during their three-day minicamp and apparently made a good enough impression on the coaching staff to stick around for the time being.
Blair and Huggins previously played for the XFL, while Trickett went undrafted out of Minnesota. Atlanta holds its first open training camp practice on July 27.
