The Atlanta Falcons signed veteran outside linebacker Kemoko Turay to their 90-man roster, the team announced on Saturday. Turay, 28, was drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
After spending four seasons in Indianapolis (2018-2021), Turay played for the San Francisco 49ers in 2022. Over his five NFL seasons, Turay has racked up 12 sacks and 29 QB hits. The former Rutgers linebacker has spent most of his career serving as a backup and special teams player.
The Falcons also signed veteran defensive tackle Justin Ellis on Saturday morning. Ellis could potentially take the place of DT Eddie Goldman if he retires, as Arthur Smith hinted at on Friday.
