During his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show yesterday, ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio revealed that a certain Atlanta Falcons star is already speaking to Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins about being teammates next year. That player would like to kindly disagree.
Florio alleged that Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has spoken to Cousins over who will wear the No. 8 jersey for the team next season. But if that actually happened, it’s certainly news to Kyle Pitts.
Taking to X last night, Pitts shot down the rumor Florio put out there, saying that people will “come up with anything” to get some attention.
“This actually is funny you guys come up with anything,” Pitts wrote, adding some laughing emojis.
Given that Florio already has no shortage of people who dislike him online, it really didn’t take long for people to praise Pitts for exposing him like that:
