In 2024, the Atlanta Falcons will officially induct former quarterback Matt Ryan and team owner Arthur Blank into their Ring of Honor. Ryan, the former No. 3 overall pick who led the team to a Super Bowl berth in 2016, signed a one-day contract to retire as a Falcon over the offseason.
Blank and Ryan will become the 13th and 14th members of the team’s Ring of Honor. They’ll be inducted on two different dates. The Falcons will induct Blank during their Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs before adding Ryan during their Week 5 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“Matt’s character and talent on and off the field sets him apart as one of the greatest Falcons players ever and we believe we’ll see his career recognized in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the future,” said Team President Greg Beadles. “We look forward to celebrating Arthur and Matt this fall and honoring their immeasurable impact on our franchise.”
