The Atlanta Falcon lost some of their running back depth over the last few weeks with Avery Williams going on the injured reserve list and Caleb Huntley getting released following a failed physical.
On Sunday, the Falcons added veteran running back Godwin Igwebuike to their 90-man training camp roster, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.

Since entering the league in 2018, Igwebuike has rushed for 122 rushing yards on 21 carries for his career. The veteran running back has some special teams experience as well, racking up 39 total kick returns for 1,005 yards on 25.8 yards per attempt.
Igwebuike, 28, spent the 2022 season with the Seattle Seahawks but appeared in just five games. Prior to that, Igwebuike played for the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers. In 2020, he spent a year in the XFL with the Seattle Dragons.
